Also known as ZS3 in north America, this is my next big ticket item. Been browsing through photography blogs and sites and reading reviews, and apparently this is one of the leading models in the so-called "travel compact camera" category. Being out of touch with developments in the techie world, I would not have known that Panasonic makes pretty good cameras.It has got 12 mpx, 12 x optical zoom and other "stuff". 12x optical zoom.... thats quite impressive. It will cost me around 1600.... not sure if its gonna be worth it.I mean no matter how good the camera is, if u just dont have it...
I have been surfing through flickr looking at people's photos, especially travel photos. There are some pretty impressive stuff in flickr. Other than flickr stuff on news websites like nytimes etc are really impressive too. One thing that I have never been able to acheive, whether due to fault of my own or cheapskate camera, is to capture the beauty of a place or moment in photographs. Hence, as a starting point... TZ7!
