Did u watch the champs league game last wednesday? Yes it is the same story. Silvestre, Gary Neville, Quinton Fortune, the goalies since Schmeichel, these are all the players that I think should have never been on ManU's first team in the first place. They are very good at screwing up and have been doing so since Ferguson first made them team starters. So what did ferguson see that was so special in these people.
When Silvestre is good, he is up there in the ranks of Sol Campbell and Rio. But he tends to commit the stupidest mistakes at the most crucial of times. Same with Gary Neville, but Neville was never that good. What about the goalkeepers. ManU really need a good one. I think the number one rule to be a good keeper is you have to be tall. Knowing that Tim Howard is short and is from the USA, you just know it is very hard, they dont have the pedigree. A good short keeper comes once in a decade... ManU already had Barthez, I am pretty sure Howard will never be that good.
And Steven Gerrard, I would love him to stay at Liverpool. But I dont know why he said that Liverpool have no chance whatsoever to lift the european cup. He said that before the Leverkusen game, and Liverpool carried on to win 3-1 without him. What is wrong with this guy. Everyone saw Porto won the cup just last year, Porto was no better than Liverpool. In fact, I think Gerrard is the most overrated player right now. I think all the praises have gone to his head.
